About the role

As a Senior Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in EPEC’s mission, ensuring the seamless negotiation, management, and compliance of contracts across their diverse portfolio of projects.  Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, mitigating risks and upholding their commitment to excellence and safety.
Key responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations to secure contracts aligned with EPEC Group's values and strategic objectives, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from inception to close-out, maintaining adherence to EPEC Group's high standards of efficiency and compliance.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and internal project teams, embodying EPEC Group's ethos of collaboration and partnership.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on contractual matters, facilitating transparent communication and alignment across projects.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to optimise contract management practices, reflecting EPEC Group's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage contract changes, claims, and disputes with integrity and professionalism, enhancing EPEC Group's reputation as a fair and reliable partner.
  • Monitor vendor performance metrics and maintain meticulous records, ensuring accountability and driving continuous improvement in safety and quality standards.
  • Champion safety protocols and regulatory compliance, safeguarding the well-being of all stakeholders and reinforcing EPEC Group's reputation as a leader in safety culture.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, in alignment with EPEC Group's growth objectives and industry trends.
  • Apply EPEC Group's robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) to work processes, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and best practice implementation.

Skills & Experience

  • Hold a degree in law, business administration, engineering, or a related field, complemented by a proven track record in contract management roles within the energy industry.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a deep understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and industry dynamics.
  • Possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment, adept at managing competing priorities, driving results, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
